My apologies, dear bloggy friends, for recently keeping you waiting with blog posts and comments: while you've been waiting - I've been waitering!On top of my already busy schedule running Giraffe World Tours, I've been helping out at the Gleeful & Greedy Restaurant at their busiest times.
As many of you know, the very popular Gleeful and Greedy is situated in Neckelchester Village, and is owned by my sister Nektareeni and her partner Girth. 
Talented and good-natured Girth does everything to do with the cooking, including inventing all the delectable recipes.
Glamorous Nektareeni is the expert on wine.*
I'm hopeless at both, and a little clumsy too. However, I seem to amuse the customers... (Oh dear - I've just thought - maybe they think I am a comedy act rather than a waiter!)
The real act of the evening is when Nektareeni gets up and sings. *

Don't work too hard Raph with all your business and home interests. Thankyou for the kind comment you left on my blog - you can pin pictures at random on my walls any time. I am sure your natural charm will make up for any small mishaps which may occur during your waitering. At least you wont get your thumbs in the customers' soup but how do you carry plates and trays with just hooves? Amazing!!
I'm not sure that I'm sophisticated enough to be seen at the G and G. I would press my nose against the window and look all forlornly at the scene inside. Maybe I could get a job as a potboy.

ha ha, justified in your case, when so many people are waiting for an update, of course! I mainly meant people who start every post that way, which seems silly. :) G&G seems like the perfect place to unwind with a Fuzzy Navel, or more appropriately I guess, a long neck! Can I make a reservation?

Oh goody! Mug Monday - I will go through our mugs over the weekend, Acornmoon! Weaver mentioned photographing in a 'Country Living' sort of style - sounds fun - with giraffe adaptations!
